Gold, Precious Gold!

It's just begging for me to mine it
Today, while digging around my house, I accidentally fell into a huge cave system. Thankfully I had a lot of pickaxes and torches with me, so I decided to take this oppertunity to hunt for some ores - which I continued to do for over an hour without ever truly finishing exploring the entire system. When I resurfaced I had obtained more than two full stacks of iron and half a stack of precious gold, and there is still much more to be found down there! Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a single diamond yet, but the gold more than makes up for it!

So tell me, how big was the biggest cave YOU have ever run into?

    As far as I know it will be a sort of gigantic cave with new types of hellish blocks and pools of lava, as well as unique mobs.

    Biggest cave I ran into...

    lets see..how to put this into words.

    on medium visibility, standing on one side of the cave, couldn't see the other side.
